Facelift Plastic Surgery Before and After Photos

    Tag Archives: Plastic Surgery

Facelift | Plastic Surgery | Before and After Photos | AtlantaThe facelift is a procedure performed by a cosmetic surgeon to reduce the facial signs of aging, tighten sagging facial skin, and provide a youthful lift to the face. At the time of pre-op consultation, the surgeon will explain all facts related to the procedure and may also present facelift before and after photographs.

Some surgeons will also encourage patients to review photos from magazines and online sources to get more clarity about the kind of facial look they want. Dr. Paul McCluskey is an experienced plastic surgeon providing facelift and various other procedures to patients in Atlanta, GA and surrounding communities.

What are Facelift Plastic Surgery Before and After Images?

Before and after images in case of facelift refer to a set of pictures belonging to an earlier patient who has undergone the same surgery with successful results. The set includes pictures taken prior to the surgery with the natural signs of aging and sagging skin showing clearly, and pictures taken after the surgery at a stage when the bruising and swelling has been reduced and effects of facelift are established.

The cosmetic surgeon will obtain these photographs with the consent of the patient and will present them before new patients in an appropriate manner. The patient’s identity is usually not disclosed with these photos, but it may depend on their willingness. The only purpose of the surgeon here is to use these photos as a visual aid to educate new patients about the potential effectiveness of facelift.

    Benefits

Facelift is an advanced and comprehensive procedure to restore facial youth. A new patient will usually have only a limited understanding of how far their aging signs may be reduced and a lifted facial look may be achieved. Some patients may need a full facelift along with neck lift or other upper face procedures such as blepharoplasty or brow lift.

In some cases, the plastic surgeon may recommend only a partial or mini facelift to meet the patient’s needs. Non-surgical procedures such as dermal fillers may also be combined in some cases. For a patient, it can be difficult to make the right choices. This is where the surgeon will use facelift plastic surgery before and after photos to help the patient make the best decisions. Dr. McCluskey receives patients from Atlanta, GA and nearby areas for facelift surgery.

    Having Realistic Expectations

A patient seeking an aesthetic procedure such as facelift will usually achieve the highest satisfaction levels when they have a positive attitude, clear aesthetic priorities and realistic expectations. Therefore, an experienced surgeon will like to present facelift before and after photos at the very first consultation. This will ensure the patient knows what the procedure can or cannot do for them.

    Online Access to the Photos

If the surgeon has their own practice website, it gives them the opportunity to provide facelift plastic surgery before and after photos in a Photo Gallery section on the site. New patients can access the photos freely online, and then decide whether to visit the surgeon’s office for a personal facelift consultation.

The use of digital technology has altered the landscape in many industries – the medical one is no different. Plastic surgeons across the globe can now show potential patients pictures that will persuade them to go through with this procedure, to wait, or to walk away from this thought. Now doctors do not have to spend so much time talking to inquisitive patients on the phone since the pictures allow someone to see exactly what they are pondering. Because of digital technology, there is less ambiguity so the patient feels much more at ease.

Neck Lift Cost | Plastic Surgery | Roswell | Atlanta | MariettaNeck lift may be performed by a cosmetic surgeon as an independent procedure or in combination with facelift surgery. At the time of the initial consultation, the surgeon will explain various aspects of the procedure, and also discuss its estimated costs. The first priority of an experienced surgeon is to help the patient make a fully informed decision.

Dr. Paul McCluskey is an experienced plastic surgeon providing state of the art surgical and non-surgical aesthetic procedures, including neck lift. Dr. McCluskey will address all queries related to costs and other aspects in detail. He receives patients from Atlanta, GA and surrounding communities for neck lift surgery.

    Cost Factors

Neck lift costs can differ between two practices. In some situations, the cost may even differ between two patients at the same practice. Several factors will impact the overall cost of the neck.

    Where the Practice is Located

Practice location is one of the key factors that will make a difference to the actual cost of a neck lift procedure. The living cost index generally varies from one region to another, which affects the average costs of most types of goods and services, including surgical procedures. For instance, the average cost of neck lift surgery in Atlanta, GA may not be the same as the average cost in, say, Northern Virginia.

    Fee Charged by the Surgeon

The fee charged by the cosmetic surgeon can depend on their training, skills and experience in performing neck lift and similar procedures. As per the recommendations of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, a patient should try to select the most appropriate surgeon for their needs. Aspects such as the surgeon’s fee should be viewed as a second priority in such decisions.

Costs of Anesthesia and Operating Facility

If the neck lift procedure is performed using general anesthesia, it will involve the costs of an anesthesiologist or a certified anesthetist nurse. Their fee will vary as per their skills and experience. Operating facility costs may also differ depending on whether the procedure is performed at a hospital, ambulatory surgical center or a private surgical suite.

    Combining with Other Procedures

If neck lift surgery is combined with other procedures such as facelift, brow lift, or chin augmentation, the overall cost-effectiveness may improve. In combined procedures, the costs of anesthesia, surgical room costs, surgeon’s fee and other overheads may not change significantly. The plastic surgeon may also offer a rebate to patients seeking combined procedures.

In any case, patients should note that while cost remains an important factor in any elective procedure, but it should not be the starting point. Patients should seek a procedure primarily because they feel the need for it, and not because the costs may be affordable to them.

    Insurance and Financing

Neck lift expenditures will usually not be covered under insurance because it is an aesthetic procedure. But patients will usually have access to various low interest financing options, including medical care financing, bank loans, credit cards, and borrowing from family and friends to make the payment in convenient monthly installments. Crowd funding should not be ruled out either.

Facelift Cost | Plastic Surgery | Atlanta Georgia | Roswell |MariettaLiposuction is currently the most popular procedure performed by a cosmetic surgeon in the United States. Advanced surgical techniques and innovations in laser and ultrasound technology have made the procedure less invasive, more targeted and also more affordable. Liposuction may be performed as an independent fat reduction procedure or combined with other surgeries.

At the time of initial consultation, the plastic surgeon will discuss different aspects of liposuction, and also provide an idea of its estimated costs. One of the first priorities of a good surgeon will be to help the patient make a well-informed choice. Dr. Paul McCluskey is a committed plastic surgeon providing liposuction and various other procedures to patients in Atlanta, GA and surrounding communities.

    Extent and Scope of Liposuction

The dollar figure for liposuction can vary from one patient to another depending on the extent and scope of surgery to be performed. The cosmetic surgeon will evaluate in close consultation with the patient about the total volume of fat to be removed from a specific area, and the total number of areas involved.

Liposuction in smaller areas such as the knees, ankles, cheeks or chin will be a relatively easier and faster procedure and will involve lesser risk and complexity. On the other hand, liposuction in major areas such as the abdomen, thighs, buttocks, flanks or the back will be more invasive and involve more time and higher costs.

Some patients may need redistribution of liposuctioned fat to certain other depleted areas to create more uniform contours. Some patients may seek specific procedures such as creation of abdominal six packs along with the main procedure. These innovations will enhance the results, but will also increase the costs.

Liposuction may become more cost-effective when the procedure is performed in conjunction with abdominoplasty, facelift, thigh lift or another procedure. The plastic surgeon may also offer a rebate in such cases. Dr. McCluskey receives patients from Atlanta, GA and nearby locations for liposuction and other procedures.

    Surgical Technique

The choice of surgical technique can make a difference to the overall financial amount of liposuction. For instance, a traditional liposuction surgery will typically require general anesthesia, which will add to the costs of surgery. On the other hand, if the patient chooses a less invasive tumescent technique, it will only involve local anesthesia.

Sometimes liposuction may be performed in a less invasive way with the assistance of innovative technologies such as laser or ultrasound. The dollar figure for using these technologies will be added to the overall monetary amount of surgery. A patient should ideally focus on achieving the optimal outcome using advanced techniques that will reduce the invasiveness of the surgery.

    Insurance and Financing

The insurance company may provide coverage for liposuction only in a situation where it performed as a medical necessity. In most cases, liposuction is performed as an elective cosmetic procedure, and the insurance will not be covered. Patients can choose from various low cost financing options available to them in order to pay for the procedure in affordable monthly installments. The idea of crowd funding should not be ruled out either.

At the time of initial consultation, the surgeon will explain various pros and cons of facelift surgery and will also discuss the estimated costs of the procedure. The primary goal is to help the patient make an informed choice.

Dr. McCluskey will address all queries of the patient accurately and in adequate detail during the consultation. He provides facelift surgery to patients in Atlanta, GA and surrounding communities.

    Price Factors

The costs of facelift procedure will normally vary from one surgical practice to another. In some cases, the monetary amount may also vary between two patients at the same practice. The following key factors can impact the overall price tag of the facelift:

    Location Factor

Geographical location of the practice of the cosmetic surgeon can make an important difference to the cost of facelift. Major urban centers as well as cities around the coastal regions usually have a higher cost of living, which will influence the average costs of most products and services, including surgery.

Median income of households, real estate prices, local taxation and other elements will be different from one place to another. For instance, the cost of facelift surgery in Atlanta, GA may not be the same as the cost in, say, Oklahoma City.

    Extent of Facelift Surgery

The facelift surgical plan will vary from one patient to another depending on their facial anatomy, extent of sagging facial skin or loss of volume, and the patient’s personal aesthetic goals. Major improvements in the face may require a deep plane lift or combination of surgical and non-surgical techniques.

On the other hand, some other patients may only require a minimal or subtle lift, which can be achieved through a mini facelift or an in-office facelift, which is less invasive. The costs will differ in both cases.

    Other Factors

Whether the surgery is performed at a hospital, private surgical suite or an accredited ambulatory surgical center will make a difference to the overall cost. Anesthesia may be performed by a qualified anesthesiologist or a certified anesthetist nurse. Their fee can differ according to skills and experience.

The fee charged by the plastic surgeon can vary according to their skills, experience, and recognition in the field of facial surgery procedures. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons recommends that patients should choose the right surgeon for their needs, and factors such as surgeon’s fee should only be secondary to such a decision.

    Insurance and Financing

A facelift is usually performed for aesthetic reasons. Therefore, the cost will not be covered under the patient’s health plan. However, most patients will be eligible for a variety of financing options to make the payment process easier. Patients can seek financing through professional medical care finance firms, credit cards, bank loans, or personal borrowings.

Liposuction Surgery in AtlantaLiposuction Surgery in Atlanta

Excess fat deposits in certain parts of the body may occur due to genetic factors, sedentary lifestyles, disease or other reasons. Over time, the deposits may become resistant to exercise or diet, may bother an individual due to their reduced aesthetic appeal. In such cases, the cosmetic surgeon may recommend liposuction, which has emerged as the number one aesthetic procedure in terms of popularity in the US.

Dr. Paul McCluskey is a well-known plastic surgeon providing liposuction and various other surgical and non-surgical aesthetic procedures. Dr. McCluskey will recommend the most appropriate liposuction technique for a patient and prepare a customized treatment plan for optimal results. He receives patients from Atlanta, GA and surrounding communities.

    Liposuction Candidates

Adults who are unhappy with the appearance of unsightly bulges in certain areas such as the hips, thighs, abdomen, flanks, calves, upper arms, back, knees, neck, or cheeks may benefit from liposuction.

The cosmetic surgeon will recommend the procedure to individuals who have a moderate body weight, preferably within 25 pounds of their ideal weight. If the skin in the affected area is fairly tight and elastic, liposuction can produce highly desirable outcomes.

    Surgical Techniques

One of the reasons behind the rising demand for liposuction surgery is the development of innovative surgical techniques, which are less invasive and more targeted. As an experienced plastic surgeon, Dr. McCluskey will recommend the right surgical technique to patients in Atlanta, GA and nearby areas.

    Traditional Technique

If the patient needs a substantive removal of fat from one or more areas, the surgeon may go for the traditional liposuction technique. The procedure begins with the surgeon making an incision in the targeted area to insert a thin cannula into the deeper layers of fat tissue.

The surgeon will dislodge the fat, manipulating it with the cannula. The dislodged fat cells will be suctioned out with a syringe or pump connected to the other end of the cannula.

    Tumescent Technique

The most widely used technique today is tumescent liposuction, which can be performed using local anesthesia. The procedure avoids the need for general anesthesia and involves smaller incisions, which makes the procedure less invasive.

The surgeon will introduce a liberal volume of anesthetic and saline solution into the targeted area through the incision. The unwanted fat cells will swell, which makes it easier to isolate and remove them. Less scarring, reduced risk, and lower downtime are the key benefits of this procedure.

    Ultrasonic Technique

Ultrasonic liposuction is another relatively less invasive procedure involving the ultrasound energy to gently warm up the targeted fat cells. The fat cells will be liquefied with the heat, which makes it easier to dislodge them without damaging the surrounding healthy tissue. For the reduction of denser fat pockets, the surgeon may use the ultrasonic liposuction technique.

    Recovery

The treated area will be covered in a bandage after the surgery. A compression garment may have to be worn for a few weeks to expedite healing. Depending on the technique involved and the extent of fat removed, the downtime may range from five to 10 days.

Neck Lift Plastic Surgery in AtlantaNeck Lift Plastic Surgery in Atlanta

Neck, along with the face, is the most conspicuous area of the body from an aesthetic perspective. Accumulation of excess tissue, sagging skin, creases, and other signs of aging will show earlier on the neck than in other areas. If the patient is bothered by the unsightly appearance of loose skin in the neck area, a cosmetic surgeon may recommend a neck lift.

In many cases, both facelift and neck lift are performed together to achieve more even looking results. Sometimes neck lift may be combined with neck liposuction to reduce excess fat tissue. Dr. Paul McCluskey is an experienced plastic surgeon providing neck lift and various other procedures to patients in Atlanta, GA and surrounding communities.

    Candidacy

Neck lift is typically sought by women and men between the age of 40 and 70. If an individual is bothered by one or more of the following conditions, they may be recommended by the cosmetic surgeon for a neck lift surgery:

    • Neck skin has suffered damage over the years due to sun, wind and other environmental factors.
    • A double or triple chin has formed due to the accumulation of excess fat deposits below the chin.
    • Skin of the neck has become saggy or a turkey wattle neck is bothering the patient.
    • Poor definition of the jowl area due to the presence of loose skin or excess fat.

    Procedure

Neck lift may be performed using general anesthesia or IV sedation with local anesthesia. The entire procedure can be completed about two to three hours. During the treatment planning, the plastic surgeon will determine whether the patient needs only surgical removal of excess skin, or fat removal and tightening or repositioning of underlying neck muscles may also be necessary.

Neck lift can be performed in a relatively less invasive manner using advanced surgical techniques. The surgeon will make small incisions underneath the chin and behind the ears to keep the scars fairly concealed. Surgical excision or liposuction may used to remove excess fat tissue, and tightening of underlying weak muscles may be performed through the incision.

In some cases, neck lift may involve removal of a small portion of the platysma muscle. Once the surgery is completed, the skin will be re-draped tightly and smoothly over the neck to mitigate the appearance of wrinkles. Loose skin will then be removed, and the surgeon will close the incisions with sutures. Neck lift surgery is usually performed as an outpatient procedure. Dr. McCluskey receives patients from Atlanta, GA and nearby locations for neck lift.

    Recovery and Results

Mild pain and soreness in the incision areas is expected in the first week, which can be managed with pain medications as prescribed by the surgeon. The patient may be able to return to their regular routine or go back to work in about a week to 10 days.

Vigorous exercises, heavy lifting of weights and jerks to the neck should be avoided for at least a month. Results will establish over several weeks and months as the bruising and swelling disappears completely.

Facelift Plastic Surgery in Roswell, GAFacelift Plastic Surgery in Roswell, GA

Rhytidectomy, commonly known as facelift surgery, is a procedure performed by a cosmetic surgeon to reduce the wrinkles and sagging skin from the face and restore a more youthful facial and jaw appearance. The procedure involves removal of excess skin and redistribution of fat to lift, tighten and smooth the facial skin and underlying muscles.

Face is an aesthetically complex area of the body and the most prominent area at the same time. Therefore, it is important to choose only an experienced plastic surgeon with proven skills and a successful track record of performing facelift. Dr. Paul McCluskey is a leading plastic surgeon who receives patients from in and around Roswell and Atlanta, GA for facelift and other procedures.

    Candidacy

Any adult who is bothered by the appearance of facial wrinkles, lines and creases or a sagging face due to weak underlying facial muscles may be a good candidate for facelift surgery. The best candidates will have some degree of elasticity in the skin in order to achieve optimal outcomes with facelift. The underlying facial bone structure should be healthy and robust enough to sustain and contribute to desirable results.

    Facelift Techniques

Facelift may be performed using one of several surgical techniques, depending on the unique needs of a patient. The cosmetic surgeon will discuss all options with the patient while preparing a surgical plan. Dr. McCluskey provides facelift to patients in Roswell, Atlanta, GA and nearby areas in a state of the art surgical environment.

    Endoscopic Technique

The endoscopic facelift technique involves the use of a tiny camera attached to one end of an endoscope. This camera is inserted into the targeted area through an incision, and the plastic surgeon can view the underlying facial structures on a screen. This ensures more precise surgery with a smaller incision. Three small incisions are usually involved in this technique to remove excess tissue and lift the sagging muscles.

    Cutaneous Technique

If the patient only requires tightening of facial skin, it may be performed with a cutaenous facelift. It involves a longer incision made along the hairline to keep the scarring discreet. The surgeon will lift the skin through the incision, remove the loose skin and re-drape it tightly and smoothly at a higher position.

    SMAS (Superficial Musculoaponeurotic System) Technique

SMAS facelift is among the most popular facelift techniques today because it produces deeper and longer lasting results. The surgeon will remove loose skin as well as lift and tighten the underlying muscle structure to improve facial contour. Results are more natural looking with SMAS technique.

Facelift surgery may be performed using general anesthesia or IV sedation. In most cases, it is performed as an outpatient surgery.

    Recovery

Most patients will experience mild pain and discomfort in the first week. Patients are encouraged to perform light movement at home from the second day of the surgery. They can usually return to their normal routine or go back to work in about 10 to 14 days. Vigorous exercises and lifting of heavy weights should be avoided for at least a month.

How to Minimize Bruising from Rhinoplasty Surgery

One of the common concerns that a new patient may have about rhinoplasty is that the surgery will cause severe bruising, which may lead to an extended downtime and a difficult recovery process. However, the fact is that a cosmetic surgeon can minimize the possibility of bruising and ensure a relatively painless and fast recovery following rhinoplasty procedure.

If the surgeon is an expert in rhinoplasty, they would have a good majority of patients who have experienced only minimal bruising, and even others would only require about a week at home when the nasal cast is removed and they can return to work. Dr. Paul McCluskey is an experienced plastic surgeon providing rhinoplasty and other procedures to patients in Atlanta, GA and surrounding communities.

    Surgeon’s Expertise

The cosmetic surgeon who performs rhinoplasty becomes the most important factor in minimizing the patient’s bruising in most cases. Bruising essentially occurs when the surgeon has to make cuts in the nasal bones to reshape or resize the nose. While making these incisions in the bone, it is possible that the periosteum which covers the lower and upper surfaces of the nasal bones may be cut or shredded.

If the cuts take place in the periosteum, which is the key source of blood supply to the nasal bone, it will bleed into the skin below the eyes and cheek, causing extra swelling and bruising. If the plastic surgeon takes more time and care to elevate the periosteum when it is required to the cut the nasal bones, it is possible to minimize the trauma to the periosteum and effectively reduce the bruising. Patients in Atlanta, GA and nearby areas have an opportunity to receive rhinoplasty from Dr. McCluskey.

    Patient Factors

Several patient factors may also contribute to bruising in rhinoplasty procedure:

Age – As an individual gets older, the blood vessels tend to become more fragile. Therefore, older patients are likely to bruise a little more.
Tendency to Bleed – If the patient has a personal or family history of excessive bleeding or bruising following a surgery, this issue should be discussed during treatment plans so that the surgeon may adopt an appropriate surgical approach.
Blood Thinning Drugs – If the patient has been taking blood thinning medications, this factor must be taken into account and arrangements with the primary care physician must be made prior to rhinoplasty.

    Tips for Patients

The surgeon will recommend several do’s and don’ts to help the patient achieve desired results with minimal bruising. At least two weeks before the surgery, the patient must avoid medications such as ibuprofen, aspirin, and various anti-inflammatories. This avoidance must continue after the surgery until the patient receives clearance from the surgeon.

High dosages of herbal remedies, teas, fish oils, multi-vitamins, and products that contain high levels of Vitamin E should be avoided. Immediately following the rhinoplasty procedure, the patient should apply ice packs or frozen pea packs to the cheeks for at least two to three days. As far as possible, the head should be kept in an elevated position to help reduce bruising.

    Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty Using Fillers

Rhinoplasty is a procedure performed by a cosmetic surgeon to improve the size and shape of the nose. However, if the patient is not comfortable with the idea of surgery, it is still possible to achieve subtle and desirable nose reshaping outcomes with non-surgical dermal filler procedures. Results with these FDA approved, injectable fillers can last for about six months to a year, depending on the type of fillers chosen.

Key advantages with dermal filler based rhinoplasty procedure include minimal pain and discomfort and very little or no downtime. All the risks and complications that are typically associated with a surgical procedure are also avoided with this injectable technique. Leading plastic surgeon Dr. Paul McCluskey provides innovative dermal filler nose reshaping solutions to patients in Atlanta, GA and surrounding communities.

    Candidates

Both women and men who suffer from relatively less severe physical anomalies of the nose, but wish to avoid surgery, may receive dermal filler based rhinoplasty from an experienced cosmetic surgeon.

Filler treatment is suitable for removing unwanted bumps and humps on the nose, enhancing the appearance of the nasal tip or such other minor improvements. Filler based nose reshaping is more sought after by busy moms and working individuals who are looking for treatment alternatives that involve minimal risk and minimal downtime.

    Procedure

During the initial consultation process, the plastic surgeon will determine the treatment goals and recommend an appropriate non-surgical dermal filler nose reshaping plan to achieve customized results for the patient. The entire injectable procedure may take only about 30 minutes. The surgeon will administer a local anesthetic topical cream or injection to ensure total patient comfort during the treatment.

Dermal fillers will be chosen as per the treatment plan. Hyaluronic acid based fillers such as Restylane and Juvederm may be used to reduce any allergy risks and achieve most desirable outcomes. The selected dermal filler is then injected into the targeted areas of the nose in precise volumes. Nose profile, shape, symmetry, and projection can be improved with soft tissue augmentation.

For more sustainable results, calcium based microsphere filler called Radiesse may also be used. Sometimes the filler nose reshaping may be performed with a combination of two or more fillers to achieve more effective outcomes. The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis, and the patient will be ready to go home almost immediately after the treatment. Dr. McCluskey provides dermal filler rhinoplasty to patients in Atlanta, GA and nearby locations.

    Recovery

Recovery is usually quick and very smooth in case of non-surgical nose reshaping procedure with fillers. Most patients will have temporary redness and swelling in the nose that will resolve on its own. Swelling will usually go away in about a week. The nose may also feel tender for the first three to five days. A few patients may experience minor bruising, which will also disappear in about a week.

    Results

Dermal filler based rhinoplasty can produce subtle and natural looking improvements for the nose. Depending on the type of filler used, the results can sustain for about six to 12 months. Patients can usually repeat the treatment every 12 to 18 months in order to prolong the aesthetic benefits.

    Non-Surgical Mommy Makeover Options

Pregnancy, childbirth and breastfeeding can take a heavy toll on a woman’s body. Many women may develop excess fat deposits in certain areas of the body, the skin may start sagging in the abdominal or breast area, and conditions such as cellulite or stretch marks may also appear. A cosmetic surgeon can provide several surgical procedures as a part of mommy makeover to correct these conditions.

However, if the woman is reluctant to undergo a procedure that involves the knife, alternative non-surgical procedures may be recommended as a part of mommy makeover. Dr. Paul McCluskey is an eminent plastic surgeon providing mommy makeover and various other procedures. Dr. McCluskey receives patients from Atlanta, GA and surrounding communities.

    CoolSculpting

One of the most popular non-surgical fat reduction procedures available today is CoolSculpting by Zeltiq. This procedure can be used to address excess fat tissue in the tummy area, buttocks, thighs, back, breasts, and upper arms to reduce stubborn fat deposits, and produce enhanced body contours. The cosmetic surgeon may recommend this procedure if the woman is keen to reduce unwanted fats that may have developed in certain areas following pregnancy.

CoolSculpting involves a unique cooling process that freezes the targeted fat cells, eventually causing their destruction. These disintegrated cells gradually exit from the body in a natural way, and the patient achieves a slimmer, more youthful looking figure. CoolSculpting does not involve any cuts, incisions, or even injections, and provides natural looking, sustainable results.

    Laser Skin Tightening

In some cases, the woman may develop loose or sagging skin in the face, neck, abdomen, hips or other parts. While the plastic surgeon can reduce fat pockets with CoolSculpting, but for loose skin, a procedure such as laser skin tightening may be used. In this technique, the surgeon will apply laser energy to the affected areas in order to stimulate the production of fresh collagen in the deeper skin layers.

Collagen production will cause the skin to firm up from within, and create natural looking skin tightening outcomes. Typical conditions that can be corrected with laser skin tightening include reduction of excess abdominal skin, sagging skin on the arms and knees, wrinkles and fine lines on the face, under eye sagging and neck sagging. Dr. McCluskey is a leading surgeon providing various surgical and non-surgical treatment options to patients in Atlanta, GA and nearby areas.

    Injectable Procedures for the Face

Facial rejuvenation can be achieved in a non-surgical way as a part of a mommy makeover procedure. Some women will tend to develop wrinkles, creases and folds in the face and chin following a pregnancy, while some others may experience under eye bags and wrinkles around the brows and forehead. These conditions can be corrected with a variety of FDA approved dermal fillers and neuro modulators such as Botox.

Juvederm, Restylane, and Radiesse are highly popular soft tissue fillers that can produce near-instant facial rejuvenation results by filling up the wrinkles and stimulating collagen production in the skin. Botox injections may be applied to reduce fine lines and wrinkles around the brows and at the outer corners of
