Buttock Augmentation (Butt Surgery) Before and After Photos

Buttock Augmentation (Butt Surgery) Before and After Photos

shutterstock_60445414Buttock augmentation is a body contouring procedure performed by a cosmetic surgeon to enhance the shape, size and volume of buttocks. During the pre-operative consultation, the surgeon will educate the patient about various aspects of butt surgery, and may also present buttock augmentation before and after photographs.

The surgeon’s first concern will be to help the patient make a well-considered and realistic decision. The patient should feel free to ask questions and clear any doubts or issues about the surgery. Fine and proven plastic surgeon Dr. Paul McCluskey provides buttock augmentation to patients in Atlanta, Buckhead, Georgia, and surrounding communities and towns in The Empire State of the South.

What are Butt Surgery Before and After Images?

Before and after images in case of buttock augmentation refer to a set of pictures pertaining to an earlier patient who has undergone the same procedure with satisfactory results. The set includes images taken prior to the surgery and at the final stage after the surgery when the full effects of butt implants have been established.

These images can serve as a useful visual aid to help a new patient understand the butt implant procedure clearly. The surgeon will take care to obtain before and after pictures with the patient’s proper consent and present them before new patients in discreet manner.

The cosmetic surgeon will use these pictures during the initial consultation with new patients, and the only goal is to use these photos to educate a new patient about the potential effectiveness of buttock augmentation surgery.

    Advantages

When a new patient visits the surgeon’s office for butt implant surgery consultation, they may only have a limited understanding of the procedure. Sometimes it can be difficult to adequately describe the real effectiveness of the procedure in words. This is where before and after photos can play a key role and show visual results of the procedure.

Some patients may be unsure whether to choose butt implants, buttock fat transfer, or buttock lift surgery. In some other cases, the surgeon may recommend a butt surgery combined with another procedure such as thigh lift or tummy tuck.

The patient can gain a better perspective about various treatment options with the help of buttock augmentation before and after photos. Stellar and perspicacious plastic surgeon Dr. McCluskey receives patients from Atlanta, Buckhead, Georgia, and other suburbs and communities in the marvelous state of Georgia for buttock augmentation surgery.

    Expectations

In any cosmetic procedure, it is important for a patient to know clearly what the procedure can or cannot do for them. Despite the best verbal explanations of the surgeon, a patient may sometimes misinterpret the aesthetic goals that can be achieved with a procedure such as buttock augmentation.

If the patient forms wrong expectations, the final results can be disappointing, even if the surgeon has performed the procedure successfully. This unpleasant situation can be avoided with the help of buttock augmentation before and after photos.

    Photos on the Website

The surgeon has an option to provide butt surgery before and after photos on their practice’s website which Dr. McCluskey brilliantly does here. This can allow free access to the photos to anyone who needs to learn more about the procedure. If the surgeon is active on social media, they may also disseminate these photos for social sharing.

Now a patient can use this digital technology to receive a supreme imprint in their mind on how this surgery will look on them. This means that a patient can almost predict the future and pretty much can. On top of this, a patient does not have to notify anyone they can just see these pictures on their kitchen countertop or in a restaurant that has Wi-Fi and make a decision that is deeply personal to them.

What has made this possible is digital technology which has altered the horizons of so many industries and continues to do so. The plastic surgery industry has embraced this technology much to the glee of pretty much humanity but certainly so many patients. Use these pictures to make better decision since that is what a patient is supposed to do.

How much does Buttock Augmentation (Butt Surgery) Cost?

shutterstock_47551018The cost of buttock augmentation surgery can vary between two practices due to a number of factors. Some of the key factors that will affect the costs include the fee of the cosmetic surgeon, costs of anesthesia, operating venue expenses, and other pre- and post-surgical costs.

Patients should ideally select a fully trained and experienced surgeon for butt surgery, overriding other considerations.

Patients should be aware that the cost of breast augmentation is usually not covered by insurance. Therefore, they should clear discuss the cost and financing aspects with the plastic surgeon during the pre-op consultation. Dr. Paul McCluskey is an accomplished plastic surgeon providing buttock augmentation to patients in Atlanta, Buckhead, Georgia, and other towns and cities across the landscape.

    Extent of Surgery

Patients should clearly consider all the major and minor costs that may be associated with buttock augmentation in order to make a well-considered decision. To an extent, the price will depend on how extensive and complicated the surgery may be. The type and size of butt implants used for augmentation will make a difference to the costs.

Alternatively, a patient may only require limited butt enhancement with fat transfer surgery, which could slightly reduce the costs. Patients should discuss with the cosmetic surgeon about the appropriate butt surgery technique to be used in their case and how much it will cost.

    Surgical Room Financial Ramifications

If the buttock augmentation procedure is performed at a hospital rather than an accredited surgery center or a private surgical suite, the sticker price may go up. While butt implants are usually performed on an outpatient basis, if the surgeon advises an overnight stay at the hospital in a rare case, it will add to the overall monetary amount. Whether anesthesia is performed by an anesthesiologist or a certified anesthetist nurse will also affect the price tag as their fee will not be the same.

    Combining with Other Procedures

In some cases, buttock augmentation surgery may be combined with thigh lift, tummy tuck or another body contouring procedure to achieve a more harmonious figure. The absolute sticker price will go up in case of a combined surgery, but the overall procedure will become more cost-effective compared to a situation where each procedure is performed separately.

The costs of anesthesia, surgical room expenses, and post-op recovery costs will usually remain the same in case of butt implant surgery combined with other procedures. In some cases, the practice may be able to offer a special package price when the patient receives two or more procedures at the same time.

    Insurance and Financing

Buttock augmentation is typically performed as an elective procedure for cosmetic reasons. Therefore, insurance coverage will most likely not be possible for this surgery. However, if the patient is not in a position to make upfront payment of the full costs, it should not become a reason for not receiving butt implant surgery.

Professional medical financing companies as well as other financing options are available to help patients fund elective procedures such as butt surgery. Committed and sensational plastic surgeon Dr. McCluskey receives patients from Atlanta, Buckhead, Georgia, and other locations in this region of The Empire of the South for buttock augmentation.

    Buttock Augmentation (Butt Surgery)

body 11Buttock augmentation is a procedure performed by a cosmetic surgeon to enhance the size and shape of the buttock area and give it a more accentuated look.

Butt augmentation involves the surgical insertion of implants into the buttocks to create a larger, shapelier, and more sensuous rear end. In a few cases, fat transfer butt augmentation may be performed where the patient needs limited buttock enhancement.

During the pre-op consultation, the surgeon will educate the patient about all aspects related to buttock augmentation and help them make an informed choice. Dedicated plastic surgeon Dr. Paul McCluskey provides buttock augmentation surgery to patients in Atlanta, Buckhead, Georgia, and surrounding communities in The Peach State.

    Ideal Candidates

People who have underdeveloped buttocks can achieve a more proportionate figure with butt implant surgery. Women who are unhappy with the size of their buttocks or want to attain an ‘hour glass’ look can benefit from female butt implants.

Men with flat or less developed buttocks can enhance the shape of the area to their liking with male butt implants. The cosmetic surgeon will carefully determine the patient’s candidacy for buttock augmentation if it can meet their aesthetic goals.

    Procedure

Buttock augmentation surgery is usually performed as an outpatient procedure, which may be completed in about two hours. Following anesthesia, the surgeon will create an incision in the buttock crease where scarring can be discreet or in the area where the butt cheek meets the back of the thigh. Through the incision, they will create a pocket large enough to accommodate the butt implants.

The buttock implants can be placed below or above the muscle in case of both men and women. This will be determined during the pre-op surgical planning. Once the implants are placed into position, the surgeon will confirm that each cheek is symmetrical and looks natural. They will carefully close the incisions and apply a compression garment.

In a situation where the patient requires only limited buttock re-contouring, the surgeon may recommend fat transfer surgery instead of implants. In this case, surplus fat tissue will be removed through liposuction from donor areas such as the abdomen or breasts. This fat will be then injected into the targeted areas of the buttocks to give subtle improvement to their shape and size.

Fat transfer buttock augmentation is a slightly less invasive procedure compared to implants. However, it may not provide very significant enhancement. The surgeon will make the appropriate recommendation based on the candidate’s excess fat availability and cosmetic needs for butt surgery.

    Aesthetic Advantages

Buttock enhancement using butt implants can successfully improve the size and shape of patients’ rear ends. Men and women who are unhappy with the size of their buttocks benefit from increased volume. Patients who feel their buttocks lack shape can achieve a more prominent, sensuous backside.

Following butt augmentation, the patient will need some time for recovery so that the skin and tissue can heal well to provide sustainable and attractive results. Accomplished and prolific plastic surgeon Dr. McCluskey receives patients from Atlanta, Buckhead, Georgia, and nearby areas for buttock augmentation.

Questions to Ask Your Thigh Lift Plastic Surgeon

Questions to Ask Your Thigh Lift Plastic Surgeon | Buckhead | MariettaDuring the initial consultation for thigh lift, the patient will have an opportunity to ask questions from the cosmetic surgeon and clear any doubts and concerns that they may have. A dedicated surgeon will answer all questions in an accurate and detailed manner to satisfy the patient’s concerns.

The first goal of the surgeon will be to help the patient make a well-considered decision about thigh lift. The patient should preferably prepare their list of questions in advance to ask during the consultation. Experienced plastic surgeon Dr. Paul McCluskey provides thigh lift to patients in Atlanta, Buckhead, Georgia, and surrounding locations.

What are your qualifications and experience in the field of cosmetic surgery?

The patient should have a clear idea of the education, training and accomplishments of the cosmetic surgeon in performing various types of surgical procedures. Experienced surgeons are more equipped to handle unexpected situations and are able to achieve the twin goals of safety and aesthetic desirability in procedures such as thigh lift.

What type of thigh lift incisions would you suggest in my case?

Thigh lift can be performed in several ways to tighten different areas of the upper legs. The patient should have an idea in advance about what surgical approach will be adopted in their case, and what may be the expected location of scars.

Would you personally perform my thigh lift surgery?

Some plastic surgery offices have a team of surgeons, so it is a good idea to clarify in advance whether the consulting surgeon would personally perform the thigh lift procedure.

What happens in case I am unsatisfied with the thigh lift outcome?

The surgeon should have a clear plan and policy to handle the concerns of an unsatisfied patient. The patient should be aware whether they will be required to pay for a possible revision surgery, if the need arises.

Do I make a good candidate for thigh lift?

The patient should know if they qualify for thigh lift surgery, and whether it is the best treatment among various surgical and non-surgical options for them. The surgeon should keep the patient’s safety and cosmetic goals as the top priority while deciding if they make a suitable candidate for thigh lift.

How much will the thigh lift surgery cost me at your practice?

Although cost should not be a primary motivator in choosing the thigh lift procedure or the plastic surgeon, but the patient should still have a clear idea of the costs involved so that they can plan their budget and finances well in advance.

Where do you operate for procedures such as thigh lift?

Some surgeons prefer to operate at a local hospital where they may have staff privileges, while others may recommend an accredited surgery center or a private operating room. The patient should evaluate the costs and benefits in each case.

What are the risks involved in thigh lift surgery?

The patient should be able to make a well-considered decision after assessing the potential risks and benefits of thigh lift surgery. Preparing for Thigh Lift Plastic Surgery

Preparing for Thigh Lift Plastic Surgery | Buckhead | Roswell | Marietta Focusing on health and fitness and planning for thigh lift surgery and recovery in the weeks preceding the procedure can maximize the chances for excellent outcomes. The cosmetic surgeon will provide tips and guidelines for preparation at the time of initial consultation.

Thigh lift is a major procedure, and the patient should have the commitment to follow the surgeon’s advice and prepare well for the procedure. Prolific plastic surgeon Dr. Paul McCluskey provides thigh lift to patients in Atlanta, Buckhead, Georgia, and other neighborhoods and cities in this part of the landscape.

    Preparation for the Surgery

    • Stop smoking and minimize drinking for a specified time period prior to the thigh lift surgery.
    • Refrain from taking certain drugs and supplements as advised by the cosmetic surgeon.
    • Clean thighs properly to maintain skin health and minimize the risk of infection in the thigh area. This risk is higher for people with sagging thighs.
    • Stay sufficiently hydrated, and eat a balanced diet, with an increased intake of lean proteins to help support post-operative healing. This is not the time to eat a medium sized pizza all by yourself or attempt to out drink your neighbor with that 12 pack he just bought. Say no to this!
    • Sleep adequately in the days and weeks preceding the thigh lift surgery and keep the body well-rested.
    • Exercise regularly and maintain a stable body weight prior to the thigh lift surgery. An active and healthy lifestyle will have to be maintained after the surgery to ensure long-term benefits of the procedure.
    • Get the imaging or lab tests completed, if ordered by the surgeon. These may be necessary to determine candidacy and prepare a customized thigh lift surgery plan.
    • Arrange for a friend or family member to provide aftercare for a few days following the surgery. Regularly emptying the drain tubes, taking prescribed medications, and moving around the home will become easier if the patient initially has someone to assist.
    • Arrange for someone to drive the patient back home safely after the thigh lift surgery.

    Preparation for Recovery

Make advance preparation for recovery, including purchase of supplies such as bandages and gauze, and compression garments. Fill prescriptions for painkillers, antibiotics, anticoagulants, and any other drugs the patient may need to undergo and recover from surgery.

It will be more difficult to arrange for medications after the surgery, and no patient would want to wait for painkillers if they are uncomfortable. If the surgeon provides medications at the office as part of the surgical package, this step will be necessary.

Apply for leave in advance for one to two weeks after thigh lift surgery. The patient will initially find it difficult to sit or perform various physical activities, and should stay confined to home until the initial healing improves.

Make a note of the detailed post-op care instruction from the surgeon or nurses. The patient should clearly understand all aspects of these directions before they undergo the thigh lift procedure.

    A Day Before the Surgery

Do not eat or drink for at least eight hours prior to the surgical appointment. Wear loose fitting clothes, which can be worn and removed easily. Dedicated and perspicacious plastic surgeon Dr. McCluskey receives patients from Atlanta, Buckhead, Georgia, and nearby areas for thigh lift.

Thigh Lift Plastic Surgery Risks and Safety

Thigh lift is a lower body contouring procedure performed by a cosmetic surgeon to create firmer and more attractive upper legs. During the initial consultation, the surgeon will discuss all aspects of thigh lift, including its potential risks and complications. Experienced plastic surgeon Dr. Paul McCluskey provides thigh lift to patients in Atlanta, Buckhead, Georgia, and surrounding communities in The Empire of the South.

While thigh lift is generally a very safe surgery, the patient should still be aware of the following potential risks:

    Scarring

Some degree of scarring is inevitable in thigh lift, but a skillful cosmetic surgeon can create incisions in discreet locations. In such cases, the scars can be easily concealed by underwear or bathing suits.

    Poor Healing

In a few cases, the incisions from thigh lift may reopen in the first few weeks after the procedure. The surgeon can perform an in-office procedure to clean and close the wounds.

    Seroma

Blood and fluid accumulation under the skin in incision areas may occur, worsening the inflammation and increasing the infection risks. Drain tubes in the incision sites can prevent this occurrence.

    Hematoma

Following thigh lift surgery, small blood clots may form sometimes, creating hard spots close to the incisions. In rare cases, these clots may require treatment, but they will usually dissolve on their own.

    Deep Vein Thrombosis

This is an extremely rare complication where a large blood clot can move to the lungs, heart or brain. This can be potential life threatening. Preventive anticoagulant medications can help minimize this risk.

    Infection

A cosmetic surgery such as thigh lift will invariably carry some risk of infection. A sterile surgical environment is vital to avoid this risk, and after the surgery, the patient should protect the incisions against contamination.

    Bleeding

Some bleeding is expected after thigh lift surgery, but excessive or prolonged bleeding can be hazardous to health. If bleeding persists, the surgeon may have to modify the incisions, or in an extreme situation, refer the patient for blood transfusion.

    Necrosis

In a rare case, while modifying the thigh tissue, the surgeon may cut off the blood supply to the fat cells, causing their destruction. Skin irregularities and discomfort may be caused due to these dead cells. Significant necrosis may require surgical removal.

    Persistent Sagging

When excess skin and fat from the thighs is removed, it usually resolves the sagging of the thighs. In rare cases, even when the thigh tissue is reduced, it may still sag. A revision surgery may have to be performed to address this concern.

    Asymmetry

Poor surgical planning or unexpected medical conditions may cause the thighs to become asymmetrical after the thigh lift procedure. If the asymmetry is significant, a revision surgery may have to be performed.

    Numbness

A temporary loss of sensation in the incision sites will commonly occur after a thigh lift. Most patients will regain the normal sensation with time, but in a few cases, the numbness may become extended or even permanent.

Accomplished and tremendous plastic surgeon Dr. McCluskey receives patients from Atlanta, Buckhead, Georgia, and other towns and neighborhoods across this geographical landscape for thigh lift surgery.

Thigh Lift Plastic Surgery Recovery Time

Thigh Lift Plastic Surgery Recovery Time | Atlanta | BuckheadThigh lift surgery recovery can be expedited if the patient diligently follows the post-op directions of the cosmetic surgeon, attends follow up appointments, and ensures that the incisions are not exposed to contamination.

Patients in Atlanta, Buckhead, Georgia, and surrounding communities in this region of the Empire State of the South have an opportunity to receive thigh lift from successful and sensational plastic surgeon Dr. Paul McCluskey.

    Immediate Post-Operative Phase

Following the completion of thigh lift surgery, the incisions will be wrapped in bandages and the patient will likely have temporary drain tubes to prevent fluid accumulation. The cosmetic surgeon will require the patient to put on a compression garment for the first few days to hold the incisions in place.

The patient will initially not be permitted to sit to avoid excess pressure on the incisions. Once the anesthesia effect wears off, the patient will be given prescription pain meds to ease any discomfort. When the patient is in a position to walk around comfortably, they will be allowed to leave the surgical venue with a responsible driver.

    First Week

In the first one or two days, the patient will require assistance with daily routine tasks such as cooking or going to the washroom. Ice therapy should be applied initially to improve the swelling around the thighs. The patient should rest the body in such a position that the thigh tissue is not stretched. Patients often use extra pillows to take pressure off the legs.

Two days after thigh lift, the patient may carefully shower after removing the compression garment and bandages. In the first week, they should stay home, but perform short walks and light activities at home to maintain the blood flow in the incision sites. At the end of the first week, the surgeon may remove sutures and drains if the incisions have sufficiently healed.

    Next Few Weeks

In the second week, many patients may be able to return to work if they can carefully sit on their thighs with the help of pillows. Scarring will be more prominent at this stage, but will progressively fade over the following months. The patient should continue to wear the compression garment at all times, except while bathing.

The surgeon may recommend the patient to stop using the compression garment after about one month. Swelling and bruising would have significantly resolved by this time. If the patient still experiences pain and inflammation, it could be sign of a complication and the surgeon should be informed.

    Next Few Months

The patient may be able to return to their regular exercise regimen in about six to eight weeks after getting clearance from the surgeon. At this time, they may also be able to lift about five pounds at a time. The scars should have faded in about two to three months, and may continue to improve for several more months.

Recovery process will be completely over in about six months to a year, and the patient can enjoy fully established new thigh contours. Dedicated and exceptional plastic surgeon Dr. McCluskey receives patients from Atlanta, Buckhead, Georgia, and other cities and communities in this part of the southeast for thigh lift surgery.

Thigh Lift Plastic Surgery Before and After Photos

Thigh Lift Plastic Surgery Before and After Photos | Atlanta | BuckheadThigh lift is one of the major lower body contouring procedures performed by a cosmetic surgeon. During the initial consultation, the surgeon will explain to the patient about various aspects of the procedure. Some surgeons may prefer to present thigh lift plastic surgery before and after photographs at this time.

The first goal of any responsible surgeon should be to educate the patient about thigh lift and help them make an informed choice. Before and after photos can play a useful role in this regard. Outstanding and prolific plastic surgeon Dr. Paul McCluskey provides thigh lift surgery to patients in Atlanta, Buckhead, Georgia, and surrounding communities in this part of the southeast.

What are Thigh Lift Before and After Pictures?

Before and after pictures in case of thigh lift surgery refer to a pair or group of images pertaining to an earlier patient who has undergone the same surgery with successful results. The images include pictures taken prior to the surgery and after the surgery at a stage when the post-op swelling and bruising has subsided and the new thigh contours are fully established.

The cosmetic surgeon will take care to ensure that the photographs are acquired with the full consent of the patient and presented before new patients in an appropriate manner. The patient’s identity may be kept confidential as per the standard protocol. The surgeon’s sole purpose in this exercise is to use these photos as a visual aid to educate new patients about the potential effectiveness of thigh lift.

    Advantages

A thigh lift is a major body contouring surgery, and a patient is likely to have some initial apprehensions about how the procedure will affect their lower body proportion and contours, and whether it can really meet their personal cosmetic goals. Some patients may only require a limited inner thigh lift, while others may need both medial and lateral thigh lift.

In a few cases, thighplasty may have to be performed, or the thigh lift surgery may have to be combined with liposuction. In each case, the patient will be better placed to make the right decisions when they have access to thigh lift before and after photos.

    Being on the Same Page

Accomplished and committed surgeons recognize the importance of before and after photos to help new patients form reasonable expectations about a procedure such as thigh lift. Therefore, in many cases, they may like to present thigh lift before and after photos at the very first appointment. They will encourage the patient to review the photos carefully, and then make a final decision.

This simple effort usually ensures that the patient is in a better position to appreciate the final results. The risk of any disappointment occurring after the procedure is mitigated. Honest and dignified plastic surgeon Dr. McCluskey receives patients from Atlanta, Buckhead, Georgia, and other nearby areas for thigh lift surgery.

    Online Photos

The surgeon may choose to provide thigh lift before and after photos on their practice website which Dr. McCluskey does, or even share the photos with their wider audience through social media. This can help create greater awareness about a body contouring surgery such as thigh lift.

If you cannot find the exact pictures you want on Dr. McCluskey’s website you can ask for them during the consultation which is free. His practice knows all about digital technology and has utilized this technology for a long time now. Digital technology has paved the way for businesses to disseminated pictures of all kinds across the cyber sphere so clients and customers of all types can see what this service or business can do for them.

Now in the plastic surgery arena any patient can see these incredible and vivid pictures and know what the plastic surgeon can do for them. They can view these pictures without anyone else being the wiser. They can see these pictures from their cubicle at work all the way from sitting in a Taco Bell booth, for example. Any place a patient can obtain Internet access. This means they are more informed and less anxious if they decide to go this route. It is a brave new world.
